Prism Electric was founded in 1994. We believe our success comes from our loyal customers and employees. A brief company timeline follows.
- 1994 – Company founded by Blake Combs and Luis Hernandez
- 2001 – Prism has 100 employees
- 2002 – Baylor Jack & Jane Hamilton Heart & Vascular Hospital in Dallas, completed $3.5 million contract
- 2004 – Company moves to expand into a larger facility
- 2004 – Ten-year anniversary celebration
- 2004 – Cambridge Building at Presbyterian Hospital at Plano, completed $3.4 million contract
- 2005 – Gamestop Distribution Center in Grapevine completed, $3.4 million contract
- 2006 – New division location established in Fort Worth
- 2006 – Number of employees tops 200
- 2007 – Prism surpasses 300 employees
- 2008 – Children’s Medical Center at Legacy in Plano completed, $8.6 million contract
- 2008 – New service division location opens in Oklahoma
- 2008 – Capital One Headquarters in Plano, completed, $11 million contract
- 2008 – Winstar Casino new construction and renovations completed in Oklahoma, $13 million contract
- 2009 – New division location for Central and South Texas opens in Austin
- 2009 – Prism has 500 employees
- 2010 – New division location established in Houston
- 2010 – Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, Texas, completed, $9 million contract
