Overview

Prism Electric was responsible for a comprehensive overhaul of the electrical infrastructure at St. Francis Hospital. This included replacing the entire electrical distribution system, upgrading the emergency power system, and installing new power generation and distribution equipment. Additionally, Prism provided electrical power for new HVAC systems, implemented advanced lighting and metering systems, and integrated various specialty systems such as fire alarm, access control, and surveillance. The project also encompassed the construction of an underground distribution system and the installation of a new lightning protection system.

To streamline the project, Prism employed innovative processes such as off-site prefabrication of the underground distribution system, color-coded conduits for system identification, and advanced lighting design. A rigorous quality control process minimized errors, and dedicated safety management ensured a secure work environment. Leveraging technology, Prism utilized BitRip labels to store equipment information for future reference.
