St. Mark’s Zierk Athletic Center

Overview

Prism Electric provided full electrical services for the new 77,000-square-foot Marksman Athletic Complex, which includes a competition gymnasium, natatorium, training rooms, locker rooms, offices, and tennis center.

Power Distribution

Scope included a new 2000-amp service and main switchboard feeding 13 panelboards, one 400-amp distribution board, and five transformers to support power needs across the multi-purpose facility.

Lighting System

Installed an Intelligent Lighting Controls system with lighting control panels, occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting sensors, and controllers, allowing for automated, energy-efficient lighting throughout the building.

Data & Communications

Provided raceway infrastructure for all low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, intercom, scoreboards, and data cabling.

Life Safety

Worked with Johnson Controls (JCI) to install the fire alarm and Area of Rescue systems. Also installed four inverters to support emergency lighting throughout the facility.
