Baylor Grapevine CUP

Overview

This project was accomplished at the same time as the 5th and 6th floor vertical expansion. The CUP includes state-of-the-art chillers, boilers and heat-exchanging equipment, and two large electric rooms for normal and emergency power. Three York chillers are in operation, with room to expand to five, as well as three steam-generating boilers, with room to expand to four. Additionally, an underground tunnel nearly 1,000 feet in length was constructed to carry the new piping to the existing hospital.
