DFW Terminal A
DFW Terminal A
DFW International Airport, TX
Overview
In 2011, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport began a phased, seven-year Terminal Renewal and Improvement Project (TRIP) to modernize four of its five terminals totaling over one million square feet of renovations. The award-winning and nationally recognized $2.3 billion project includes enhanced concessions, expanded checkpoints, reconfigured ticket counters and improved parking. The first phase includes replacing all Terminal A building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, security, building management, and voice and data.
Prism was the electrical contractor and executed all portions of the electrical work. TRIP was phased so to not disrupt day-to-day airport operations.
Prism provided input during design related to cost, constructability and scheduling for this project.
